Found a way around Yahoo password prompt

Postby plank » Thu Mar 30, 2006 11:51 am

Hi 3dsl, great site :D

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I've found an easy way around the Yahoo personal folder password prompt. All you have to do is delete your Yahoo cookies. In Firefox, just go Options > Privacy > Cookies and click on View Cookies. Then type yahoo into the bar up the top and delete the cookies labelled F, Y, T and B. Do this for each new folder (ie. when the files are split into 3 Yahoo folders).

I'm not sure how to do this in IE though, you'd have too delete them manually from the cookies folder.

I do think just logging out through the Yahoo site is less hassle than manually deleting cookies? ;)

Congrats on the constructive 1st post btw!
