Dementia aka Armed and Delirious

Postby mrkol » Tue Jul 24, 2012 8:44 pm

This game usially scattered into the net with broken disk #5 cause playing the part of the game where this disc is on always make the game crush. Also i tried to check YOURS version of Dementia in hope to fix that problem. As i see your version does not contain Disc #5 at all. The download links to all discs is valid exept the number 5 one which miss some parts of its archive so if you can replace this mess with healthy non broken version of #5 disc which i can download and check by several seconds. In the case of warn someone to put here broken version of last disc i can give easy to check info. If 5 th disc is broken you CANT launch the game from it. Its just will not start with <unexpected error> or <insufficient memory> errors. So check before put it in.

All the parts for disc 5 are there, click the Name colum header to sort them in order and you'll see.

There is no way to play the game on a newer system i.e. XP, Win7, Vista etc. - I love this game so I actually took the time out to configure it correctly - so I hope this helps. First off, you should run the program in a virtual machine with Windows 95. Secondly, the game is drive specific, so you want to make sure that the disc will read correctly in the appropriate drive. Third and most important, you should disable your Virtual Memory in Win95, this will allow you to run disc 5 with no problems. If problems still persist afterwards, then move your hardware acceleration down 2 notches to the left. Hope this helps 'cause this game is one of the most fun, difficult and bizarre games I've ever played.
