Of all the ones you mentioned. This one definitely rang a bell since I remembered seeing this game at my local arcade before they closed it down more than 10 years ago.
I did play it a few times but paid more attention to stuff like lightgun shooters such as
The House Of The Dead,
Area 51, scrolling shooters like
Metal Slug games, beat 'em ups like
The Simpsons and
Golden Axe, and fighting games like the
Mortal Kombat,
The King Of Fighters,
Killer Instinct and
Street Fighter Alpha games.
And who can forget that
6 Players-supported Co-Op X-Men game from Konami if they been to an Arcade?
I didn't remember or pay that much attention to the Shmups until I look at the screen shots of the game.
Other reason I missed or overlook them is because those Bullet Hell shmups can get quite frustrating because typically the player is
generally killed/destroyed in a single hit, so lots of timing and luck is needed in order to get good at playing and completing them, especially for the High Score, since that's what they were meant for. I don't know but I would want to play stuff more frequently where I don't get killed/destroyed so quickly in a single hit since they give some room players to make mistakes and still be able to complete them.
But if Freeplay (Unlimited Continues or Lives) is possible it can be quick mindless fun.
Don't worry though I will include them on this list since all Arcade Conversions whether good, lame, mediocre, way too easy or way too frustrating to complete or even plain terrible will be included.
However for something like
Elvria: The Arcade Game should not be part of this list since it was "Never" an actual Coin-Op Arcade game machine.
