For a long time I have been trying to play Agharta: Holllow Earth.

I am using
2CD ISO Demo 402MB (uploaded by scaryfun) -- (why are they uploaded 3 times? Do they differ?)

The problem is it won't install as the error reads : Insert correct CD.
I have mounted the image (CD1) in a virtual machine running Windows ME (also tried XP and Win98, some error message)
Besides that I also renamed the CD to Agharta_CD1, the original label, without success.

Can this game be run with these images? I have a sealed copy here of the game which I really don't want to open.

Try the Alcohol Clone that Egon uploaded. I don't what the difference is between the other two.

The Alcohol Clone is the one to use alright, as it has burned the correct CD label name, which is critical. Still no matter what I try, I either get the error message: CDrom is busy, or Setup has caused an error.

I have tried every possibility in VMware, perhaps someone else has better luck?
Would be great if I can get it to work.

Its an obscure installer , it only copies the folder AGHARTA from CD 1 ... just be getto and copy it by hand , then insert CD2 and do the same (copy over the ANIDATA to AGHARTA) then get the Myth 1.2 patch/no-cd routine and replace the exe (http://www.4shared.com/folder/qu0to428/AGHARTAUPD.html)... and you just made yourself a full rip ...

oh and another thing this game works ONLY IN 640x480 16bit ... have to try so wrappers if it can go around this
