So i finnaly got the game from Isozone and... i cant get it to work

err... anyone has any ideas on how to make it work on a modern PC?

I mean, i heard this version is pretty unique and has the best background resolution in all its unedited 800x600 glory (instead of 640x480 in ALL other versions of RE1).

People also say it has additional effects and such. I dont know if half of these claims are true, since the game was such a rarity (until now) and i would love to try it out now that it is out in the open.

Considering the PC version already has 2 diferent versions just for its western release (and the PS1 has multiple versions), it wouldnt suprise me that this PowerVR one also has its unique perks.

Anyway, any help is greatly apreciated.

Unfortunately, for all its wonders, it's unplayable without an actual PowerVR card, which is another point on why it's so special. There is a wrapper for "regular" cards (with OpenGL suport, yadayada) but it's still WIP, so unfortunately no DLs have been put for it yet:

Since A2 seems that BH1 looks good enough, although the screens there don't show the fountain or the tiger statue room for rendering comparison, neverthenless me thinks it's worth waiting for

Tuxality firstly said he had some weeks of free time during summer holidays to develop, then he said a beta version would be out for volunteers, but again no signs of life from him.
