Did they actually fixed the "things outside the 4:3 resolution dont actually spawn" bug?

Cause it was kinda funny to run around and see 3d objects "despawn" as soon as they reached the edges of the imaginary "4:3" screen.

@BR4ZIL
Nope, they didn't. It is noted in the patch 1.666 readme. As the engine was hard-coded for non widescreen resolutions, game is still rendering at 4:3 resolution. Therefore it doesn't send the objetcs that are outside of the camera to the render pipeline. Scenery renders correctly, but objects (tables, doors, chairs, etc) gives some artifacts outside of the 4:3 area edge.
Anyway, it isn't a big problem. With this patch applied game looks absolutely fantastic :)

yeah , textures are nice ... and this mod can push the engine, so much you need a 8 tread cpu to handle all the new features ... but still it will not fix this mediocre game :P :lol:

part two compared to the first was... awful ... but yeah , people at that time frame where into goth , movie vampires as "Blade" with sexy Kate in "Underworld" and Rave ... simple put people wanted Nocture 2 ... part 1 deliver that giving stranger as the teacher for your hero dampir ... but part 2 what a load of bull and mess it was mindbending , with such a broken control scheme your head would spin (explain to the fine PC folk you need a PAD in 2004 for a game ... what is a PAD ???? would be the answer )... not to mention this port needed 3x the PC (yes , it was a GOOD DAMN AWFUL PS2 PORT that the pc folk got) at that time i had a two core Cpu ... but those that did not ... yezzz

Take it easy :) I still like it, no matter how bad it is. Silly story, stupid controls etc. You are absolutely right here... I just like its ridiculous brutality hahaha
Ps: Gothic, vampires, damphires and other things means nothing to me. Few decades grind and death metal fan hahaha

Majesco Entertainment (Bloodrayne franchise rights owner) formally ceased all video game operations on December 8 2016.
Why would Bloodrayne not return in new game then? Is it even possible...?
...
I've found an Bloodrayne prototype combat test gameplay, created by Red Fly Studio (one of studio founder members was involved in Bloodrayne games developement in Terminal Reality studio) with Unreal Engine 4. What do you think of that guys?

That looked fun, depends who owns the rights to the franchise. It should be able to continue with a new publisher.

An updated version of this patch is available for those having issues with the original version when playing on Windows 8/10.

Widescreen fix for Bloodrayne 2, compatible with FSAA 1.666 patch.
Replace br2.exe with this one and enjoy no more popping textures :mrgreen:
Set desired resolution in file - BloodRayne 2\system\rayne.ini
For example, for 1920x1080:
gamePIXX=1920
gamePIXY=1080
Important!
Do not change resolution and aspect ratio in br2fsaa.ini or via config tool!

Hd textures (all four) + podExplorer.exe and PodTools.exe
(podExplorer.exe and PodTools.exe are tools used to extract or add content like textures or models to the game...)

How to use it in game:
1. Create new folder i BloodRayne2 game folder and name it HD.
2. Place all four HD zip files in it.
3. Add it manually to br2fsaa.ini file Exactly this way:

4. Enjoy :D
