They should've kept the mounted police sirens on the arcade cabinet from Chase HQ1. I get flashbacks sometimes from #1 - I was a crappy driver but I'd get some donated quarters from strangers just to keep their amusement going.

Some players were downright gods taking down the bad guys.

Too bad that despite of many people requested CHQ2 to be cracked first, the cracker seemed to prefer Battle Gear 4 instead.

BTW, Chase HQ 2 looks like more Michael Bay-ish compared to its 16/32-bit prequels.

When I first spot this thread I was crossing my fingers and hoping somebody had figured out how to get Aliens Extermination, another "arcade exclusive" game developed by Play Mechanix and published by Global VR. Same goes for another Aliens arcade game which again, unsurprisingly is exclusive to arcades developed by Play Mechanix and published by Raw Thrills called Aliens: Armageddon.

I absolutely hate it when they make all Aliens licensed Arcade games 'exclusive' to arcades. As not a single one of those arcade games got any kind of official licensed port.

Not Konami's Aliens, not Capcom's AvP, and definitely not Sega's Alien 3 The Gun, but that's why for those who really want to play them would Have to use a program like MAME since it's impossible to afford and even store those huge cabinets at home easily.

Maybe back then their excuse for not porting them could be that they rather port it as an 'arcade-perfect' port or not port it at all but now arcade perfect is more than possible, and even some older arcade games had HD remakes and re-releases IIRC.

Anyways, from what I've looked around and read those 2 Aliens games used specialized PC hardware running a Windows XP Embedded version OS. I just hope the person or team that hacked and figured out the Taito Type X, X2, E-amusement arcade systems would get to those 2 games and get them fully working some time within the next 4 or 5 years. The upside to these arcade games that run on modified PC-based hardware would mean we don't really need MAME and/or a BIOS file dump.

I wonder if they dumped carnevil, it's a pc based game with 3dfx. It would be interesting to use that with wrappers like nglide.
