A third installment in the popular series of tactical shooters set in the Star Wars universe. The players can participate in spectacular battles in which victory in the war for control of the galaxy is at stake. It's the first game created thanks to the cooperation of Electronic Arts and Disney Interactive after LucasArts was closed. Development was entrusted to LA DICe which was founded specifically for the purpose of creating games using the Star Wars license. The game takes the players to iconic Star Wars universe where a fierce battle for control of the galaxy takes place. Having joined one side of the conflict, the players have a chance to turn the tide in their favor. As befits a licensed product, it's rich in elements referring to the saga of George Lucas film. Wage epic multiplayer battles on Hoth, Endor, Tatooine and the previously unexplored planet, Sullust. Fire blasters, drive speederbikes, snowspeeders and command AT-ATs. Fight as the galaxy's most memorable heroes and villains, like Darth Vader and Boba Fett. Interact with some of the most beloved characters from the original trilogy. Become the hero or villain of the battle. Pilot X-wings, TIE fighters, the Millennium Falcon and more of your favorite vehicles in exhilarating aerial combat. Find out which squadrons will rule the skies. Seamlessly swap between 1st person and 3rd person perspectives. Partner up with a friend in online multiplayer, share unlocks and have each other's backs on the battlefront. Fight for the Empire or the Rebellion offline, solo or with a friend, in carefully crafted missions. In the technical side, the game designers used the Frostibite 3 engine (also used in Battlefield 4 and Need for Speed: Rivals). It offers high-quality, three-dimensional graphic design with a possibility of advanced destruction of the environment.
