In 20XX, Gensokyo had received huge specter corps invasion and by overwhelming force Gensokyo was on the brink of destruction. In order to counter the invasion, Touhou Defense Force (TDF) has been formed. The player assumes the role of Reimu and Marisa and the new members will be added over the new mission. This is a top down shooter and the gameplay is inspired by Chikyuu Boueigun, a popular 3D shooter series developed by Sandlot. The player engages with floods of enemies on gigantic sprawling maps before the health runs out. Player unlock new weapons and spells throughout the game by picking up Weapon objects, dropped by killed enemies or upon mission completion |
