This is an arena shooting game and the basic gameplay is identical to Pang or Buster Bros, a 1989 arcade puzzle by Capcom. Players are tasked with destroying kedamas at five different locations that represent the best place in Gensokyo. The kedamas have a predictable path as they bounce across the stage. The bigger kedamas will burst into smaller and in greater numbers will quickly overwhelm players. It features three playable characters to choose from; Reimu, Marisa and Youmu, each having distinct attack types. The character has a single shot that fires straight up, and they cannot fire again until the bullet has hit enemy, which can put them at a disadvantage if they misfire. The bombs basically is rapid version of the standard shot. The stage ends when all of the kedamas are successfully cleared. |
