This addictive doujin shmup has gameplay that is spot on. The bullet patterns are very nice, and the music is awesome (very similar to the Mega Man X soundtracks). The music alone is worth the download. When you hit the "hyper" button your shot will be powered up and bullets onscreen will vanish (like in DOJ), but if you hit the button again during the hyper it will "turn off." However, even if you only turn the hyper on for a second and then right back off to get rid of some bullets, you'll use up at least 100 points of hyper charge, to prevent you from abusing it for defensive purposes too much. |
