Cosmic Break CyberStep, Inc. 2008

CosmicBreak is a free to play Massively multiplayer online third person shooter featuring massive PvP battles of up to 30 vs. 30 players at one time. Familiar WASD control and fast-paced Arena action makes CosmicBreak quick and easy to get into for any gamer. CosmicBreak allows players to customize their robots with a high level of freedom. The customization process may seem a little bit confusing at first, but you’ll quickly get the hang of it and be building your own robots in no time. Over 50 unique playable robots with over 300 mix-matchable parts makes for endless customization options. Every robot has different abilities, and many feature special weapons and collectable rare parts. Using the powerful robot assembly system, you’ll be able to build unique robots that are yours and yours alone. Your robots will gain experience points from battle. Once enough EXP has built up, a robot will be able to level up and activate a special custom cartridge. Cartridges enable a variety of abilities unavailable to low level robots. Wonder Bits (also known as EX parts) are special parts which aid robots during battle. They may provide added firepower, allow the robot to deploy a stationary gun turret, provide various types of support to allies, etc. The Tune Up system allows you to upgrade a specific part by increasing its parameters or giving it other special abilities. However, there is an element of chance when performing a Tune Up as they do not always succeed. The stronger the Tune Up, the more likely it is to fail. Additionally, you must have the necessary Tune Up materials in order to perform a Tune Up. Most Tune Up materials may be collected by playing the various game modes, although there are certain rare materials that are harder to come by. In Arena Mode, you form teams with other players and compete in PvP battles ranging in size from 5 vs. 5 to 30 vs. 30. Arena Mode consists of Union Wars, which uses preset rooms and automatic teams, and Team Fight, where you can create your own rooms and form your own teams. Up to five players may form a team and battle against enemy NPCs in Mission Mode. Each Mission has five difficulty levels, so choose the level that’s best for you and your party. In Quest Mode, you explore ancient ruins on an untamed planet. You can set out alone, or you can gather a party first. Collect all required treasure to receive a reward. In 2010, an English version was released. The game was shut down March 5, 2019.
