| Uploader's Notes: | 1) There are 4 patches - one for the Core Game (The Sims), one for Hot Date (+ multilingual versions; the Core Game, Deluxe and Unleashed have all the languages in one executable), one for Unleashed and one for Deluxe Edition. Official patches for The Sims, Hot Date, Unleashed and Deluxe Edition are available here. They update the game to fix a lot of bugs and are necessary if you, for example, want to install a later expansion pack after already launching the game. Hot Date has four patches - HDPatch (North American Patch), HDPatch_Asia (supporting US-English (for Asia only), Korean, Thai and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) languages), HDPatch_Europe (supporting UK English, French, German, Dutch, Swedish, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Polish languages) and HDPatch_Japan (Japanese Patch), while the patches for The Sims, Unleashed and Deluxe Edition natively support other languages. 2) Houses. 3) Objects. 4) Skins. 5) Tools. Every archive has folders with the name of the expansion pack which is required to use the content. For example, Core Game folder is content that can be installed with just The Sims (and no expansion packs) or with any expansion packs, Hot Date is content that can be installed ONLY if you have Hot Date or sometimes a later expansion pack, House Party & Hot Date is content that can be installed ONLY if you have both of these expansion packs. Most of this content is included in Complete Collection, some with the Deluxe editions or a later expansion pack and some are nowhere at all. |
