| Uploader's Notes: | Clean install with Compatibility fix + SaveGame + Old codecs/Directx9. Has the usual issues with video playback depending on your Windows configuration. The subtitles may get cut off when you try to run it in a none widescreen resolution, I launched the game with a non-widescreen resolution using this tool in 1920x1440 - https://www.bcheck.net/apps/reso.htm Tried to change the resolution in the PSYCHO.ini to a non-widescreen one, however the game didn't go proper fullscreen then. English language files from the patch are still needed, without it subtitles are out of sync, the "default" subtitles also don't match what being said, It appears to be an earlier version with a more direct German to English translation. I recommend disabling Gsync and run the game in standard refresh mode (nvcpl game profile). Gsync in this title had some negative effects on fluidity. Load times are also tied to FPS, so if you cap the framerate the game loads slower. |
