I think the general section is enough for this? The lesser the sections the better imo.

I reckon this place is primarily for the likes of black: it seems that he comes and goes every now and then.

Well, in a small community like ours, it gives a chance for regular forum members to get to know someone new. In a large forum, with tons of welcomes, it becomes more pointless as I've noticed elsewhere since responding and welcoming so many people each day would drive me nuts.

Scaryfun, instead of making a new section, you should add a very important feature this forum lacks:
"Search in title only"
