I became fairly addicted to South Park lately so I decided to install the game (the old one) on my Windows XP VM.

It installed fine but when I click the shortcut to launch the game, nothing happens.

I tried using compatibility mode and I also tried installing it on my Windows 98 VM to no avail.

Is there any fix or anything that I need to do in order to play the game?

I also tried using Windows 95, but it couldn't even recognize the CD!

I got it to install in Win95, but it won't run. And I got it to run in Win98 but it's abysmally slow.

It'd be way easier to just settle for playing the Playstation version of it.

There's patch to run in XP here - https://www.old-games.ru/game/download/413.html
Or try the rip version with a newer patch to run on XP.

Okay. I think I'll download the rip.

I'm not really a big fan of rips on AL, but it's the only way I can play this game

Or I could just get the patch and not need to get the rip version or something. I have the ISO bin/cue version.
