Just downloaded the iso, but when I run install.bat (dos-window ) I got a short video with the message: Please insert the Witchaven 2 - CD.

Maybe somebody know how I can pass this "error".

hmm. if your has the iso Use dos32 extender or use dosbox (only if you ha a 3 or 4 gighz pc )

If I understand you correctly: I don`t have any problems with the dos-interface, just need to pass this copy-protection thing.

Perhaps the game is cracked, but does still require a CD driver like MSCDEX to be resident. Trying out DosBox or similair could answer that issue. If not, then a crack should be required


On a different note: did you mount, or burn the image, and is it in your first CD-Rom drive? DOS games will sometimes only check the 1st removable drive for the CDRom.
