"Death Drome (1997)" Question

Postby josilva23 » Fri Mar 23, 2007 1:28 am

I am with a doubt. Is on the place where the game “Death Drome (1997)” is. See these pieces of text of the site Home of the Underdogs:
"Death Drome is a fun, although a bit simplistic, futuristic first-person action/sport game that deserves much more attention than it received."

See here plus this:
"Graphically, Death Drome could have been better. The vehicles are quite blocky, and overall level designs lack the detail of Quarantine, a much older game."

They repair below finally in the stretch, where the site makes mentions games similar:
"If you like this game, try: Necrodome, Quarantine, Rocket Jockey"

Summarizing: This game would not have to be in the section: “Special Area” that nor the "Quarantine" game ???

Josilva, you're absolutely correct, the game is much related to Quarantine, so it will rather fit better in the Special Area.

Well done!

Speaking of Death Drome, this is one game I have been looking for on CD-ROM for quite awhile. I used to play it on Heat.net years ago, and Heat had a special updated version of it just for online play. I had both the CD-ROM version and the Heat version at that time, but that was many hard drive crashes ago.

So if anyone comes across the CD-ROM or Heat version of the game, let me know.
