yeh ,if u go to teyon site (if i remember correctly) you can see mention of english version of blind shot.
or it seems to suggest there is an English version.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i tried russian exe for district wars from one or two of those russian nodvd sites.
it's all related to starforce protection issue,i think.
i didn't know there was a district wars patch.
do u know where i might find it ?
I do like a few of those Russian sites ,
I've picked up a lot of good things from Russian modders and crackers.
I remember a guy called DENISka who was brilliant at modding gta san an.(grand-theft-auto-anderius,+others)
Though i never got more than a quarter of the way through most of the gta games.
Some of the mafia 1+2 mods made by Russians are good too.
=============================================================
p.s....Death.to.Spies.Moment.of.Truth.MULTi5-PROPHET(updated to latest version)
It's on opg(multihosts)
though if u own the game already ,it might not be much use
==========================================================

i remember there was some patches for death to spies ,that used to be difficult to get hold of.
i had someone asking me a while a go.
i think they were fan-made patches or something.(not sure, as memory's not good)
I think i have them on a dvd somewhere.
Though i think it's on steam now ,so maybe they're not needed.
=============================================================
wolfschanze-1944 game version 1.14 [remastered] :)
Code: Select all
http://calaris.itch.io/wolfschanze-1944

In order to download this game you must purchase it at or above the minimum price of $4.99 USD. You will get access to the following files:
WOLFSCHANZE_v114_ENG.exe (884mb)
==================================================
I'm interested in these two games:
http://calaris.itch.io/
Crashsite and Mysterious Island
i don't think I've seen these two before,unless they were released with diff. name.
edit:i think they are for non pc games

Blind Shot English version was published by now gone small UK publisher Dusk2Down. I also found the English manual from somewhere at some point, so the game should exist.
I didn't know about opg site, thanks. I saw there http://opgforum.net/index.php/topic/125 ... onfession/
Is someone user there and see clickable links? Is this 800mb repack there also Akella's Russian version or...?

Regarding District Wars I actually meant that http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc ... wars.shtml
I didn't want to use word crk.

I have legal copies of Death to Spies and MoT, don't know anything about its scene releases.
Also I don't know anything about those patches or mods.

Opgforum is quite good .
They have a few good uploaders and good admin/mods.
They also have a pretty good request section.
PHACER(admin) has filled a few of my requests .
They seem like good people over there.

I was just looking through my games collection and i noticed i have the dvd of LIquidator 2 :)
The cover looks quite good ,even though the info on the back cover doesn't quite match the actual game. :D
i remember i got it at poundland ,which is a useful shop for finding liquidated stock that they need to shift quickly.
I also picked up Another World: 20th Anniversary for £1.(a good price for sealed copies of old games)
==========================
Death To Spies
Enhancement Addon Fan Patch

it's on this page near the bottom pf list

Could you maybe ask about Blind Shot English version as well from opg? :)

Another World I can understand. :) But Liquidator 2... oh man! At the same time I suppose its actually cool to own something rare. :)

DtS fan patch - reading about it rings some bells. Yeah, i've seen it, but as it don't add anything content-wise, i just forgot it.

i didn't know liquidator 2 was "rare".
i have a few old pc games that I'm cataloging atmo as well as old ps2 and xbox(orig) games.
I'm contemplating just selling them all for a few hundred quid(if i can :) )
The thought of individually ebaying each game does not appeal :)
Some might be worth it ,some won't.
=============================================================

The thing with opg is ,I think you need to try and find the name of the scene release if poss.,like "blindshot-reloaded" or
"blindshot-skidrow"
(It's not like Legendworld ,which is more of a genuine archiving site for games.)
Then u put in a request and hope someone has it,
That's what i gathered from reading the opg request rules anyway.
Though sometimes if they know of the game ,they're pretty cool and will see if they can find it.
I'll ask over there and maybe someone might have heard about it.
EDITUPDATE:
Your not gonna believe this ,but apparently i requested 1 Blindshot English ' back in april 2014 and promptly forgot all about it!
google:
opgforum Blind Shot: Assassin's Confession

i have no idea how i managed to totally forget :D
i'll check it out and see if it's actually the English version ,there seems to be a 5.3gb iso and a 800mb smaller version.

Yeh , i have a feeling it might be Russian too.
My memory can be quite bad sometimes.
I think the 800mb version is Russian.(i have a 800mb Russian version stored on dvd)
but i never got round to checking the 5gb version as i have slow 3g connection and i was gonna check it at a later date.
i reckon if it was English then it would have probably been put on Legendworld
The frustrating thing is ,there is an English nodvd on GCW.

p.s. somehow i missed your one post mentioning blindshot opg link.
sorry for the crossed wires.
============================================
If scaryfun notices this discussion ,maybe he might know whether it's English or not :)

edit;
i found this info for Polish release by PROPHET(1.31 GB)
Code: Select all
http://predb.me/?post=3427686

Portuguese subs/lang. english ? version
blindshot:confessions of a killer (same game)(not for sale anymore)
Code: Select all
http://www.actiongame.com.br/produtos_descricao.asp?lang=pt_BR&codigo_produto=5431

It looks like there is cd and dvd versions(not sure)
Code: Select all
http://games.mercadolivre.com.br/jogos-pc/blind-shot-pc-game-jogo

if my calculations are correct ,i might try risking £3 on the brazil cd version.(if they ship to u.k) :)
It might be the English version with Br. subs.
======================================
it seems to have had worldwide/Europe release in 2009:
Code: Select all
http://games.gamepressure.com/game_info.asp?ID=13925

maybe it bombed really quick.

Comes with the age, oldman. ;)

oldman wrote:i never got round to checking the 5gb version

The one in SL is Russian, I think i tried it a while ago. What makes the image so big were extras. if I remeber correctly there were ton on other games' demos and trailers.

oldman wrote:The frustrating thing is ,there is an English nodvd on GCW.

Yep :P

Gamepressure is great site but I don't trust everything I see there. They have many mistakes. Their worldwide this time may mean "other than Poland" or something.

For sure. And eng ver publisher going to bankrupt soon after didn't help either.

"For sure. And eng ver publisher going to bankrupt soon after didn't help either."

ah, i didn't know that little titbit of info.
That would go some way to explaining why it disappeared so quickly.
Anyway, if i ever find a working English copy I'll leave a message here.

ie:Gamepressure :
A lot of peeps are guilty of using term "worldwide" ,when it's just the few surrounding countries closest to them

It'd be interesting to hear if u discover the name of that fps game that started this thread.

It took me several tries to get the 842MB version of Blind Shot from opg as there was only one host available and download kept breaking...but it turns out it's Russian.

Thanks scaryfun .
I think that's the version i have then and i reckon the 5gb is the same as the one on here.
I think my request got lost in translation at opg.
I think the admin is possibly Russian/Ukrainian , though his written English seems to be good.
He's always very helpful though.
I'll hope to find that Brazilian/Portuguese subbed version ,which i think is English voiced.(or maybe get lucky and find the 100%n Eng. version)

It's not like it's an AAA title or something ,but it'd be cool to find it.

P.S.. At least u have the smaller version now :)
