Firstly, thank you to all contributors who gave their valuable time and bandwidth to appreciate all the older games out there.

I've been playing games since 1990 ( 13 back then ) - and a lot of the older games beat the newer ones hands down for gameplay and addictiveness.
It's great to find a set with a great tribute to the history of FPS. People like myself appreciate all the hard work and may you keep it up for many a year.

I loved going back to those older games ( DOSBox being VERY useful ) and enjoying some of the forgotten games.

I don't like seeing people coming here for warez but hey, it's their business, you like the games and want it, pay for it. Help the people who make games so that they can make more.

Once again thanks to everyone for bringing great memories of many a late night and forgetting homework back to me.

:D :D
Glad you've gotten enjoyment again from these older games. I think you're right, some new games have gotten too complex or rely on graphics and ignore gameplay unlike the older ones. 8)

yeah, it's a shame that the only way to make more money for big companies these days is buying up other companies and filing lawsuits with new-out-of-thin-air patents.

Oh yeah, and the only way consoles can appeal more to the mass market is by making pre-rendered movies and doing a copout with them :P
