The more recent news I could find on gamespot and ign date back to 2003...

Adam Blaster on Gamespot

Adam Blaster on IGN

...even though moby games states that the game has been released in 2002.

I think it got cancelled.

I did a little digging on this game.. when Got Game Entertainment got the
rights to publish it in North America it was renamed "Atomic Enforcer".

totheGame has this been cancelled in the UK, US, and Nordic territories.
http://www.tothegame.com/pc-248-atomic- ... or-pc.html

However there is 1 listing for it on Ebay.
http://product.half.ebay.com/_W0QQprZ64 ... 1185114322

Also under the heading of "21.12.2006" on this very site by MasteromaN,
this game was removed from the listing because of massive delays or publisher
cancellation.

It looks as though it was completed but not published. There might be
a slim chance of a copy of it showing up somewhere.

Wow, the same company made a Richard Scarry game, I loved his books as a kid.

This is why I was so confused. There seems to be contradictry information. It was appearantly finished and ready to go, but was it actually released? Even if it was finished and not released you expect there to be a couple of copies floating around. It's a mystery.

I see an entry was added to 3dsl...is there any proof now it was released? I searched just now and saw this Swedish shop - http://www.webhallen.com/se-sv/spel/pc/ ... c_enforcer
It says no release date, but it does let you add it to checkout. :?

I just deleted the entry as there's no proof it got released; before making it I just checked an IGN article stating the release in US was postponed to 2004, so I specified 2004 as release date even though circumstances weren't very clear. It's not big deal to delete it, I'll just create a new one if ever a good proof of existence shows up.
