Newwolf? Yeah, that's quite a cool piece of software. A friend of mine once fixed those annoying boxes around every image that occure on my system. I just wonder where I put it... :-x

DarkOne should really resume work on it. Not being able to end the episodes is a pitty.

The WinWolf3D also exists that still is in version 0.0.94, but is attemped to also supply to support Catacomb 3D, Catacomb Abyss… Support for other games originated for the Wolf3D Source is also planned.

Hey cool, that Wolf3D redux one has some kind of support for the Mac version which has the higher res graphics!

Fun thing is, there's also loads of Wolfenstein-inspired Add-Ons and TC's for Doom.

For instance, this thread offers a ZDoom TC, exactly mimicking the original Wolfenstein 3D, yet with all of the Zdoom engine's features. Check it out too, it might possibly the next best thing: if you use FreeDoom as a base, you will have the gameplay experience of Wolf3D, in a legal construction! ;)

Thanks for the Zdoom pointer InsaneFury :)
Unfortunately all links seem to be down for that TC - I don't suppose you have a copy or a live link to the latest version
