What's the error message's contents? What's the exact behaviour after clicking Setup.exe? What is your OS + CPU + GPU + RAM + ETC? Anything else of note? Describe the problem, pretty please

Setup has Detected that uninstallShield is in Use.

Please close uninstallshield and Restart setup.

9600k+ Noctua NHU12-S, 1070Ti Zotac Mini+Powercolor Powerjack, Asus Z390 Gaming Plus.

How can i Play this Game, with Update 1.2 ???

Grab the DirectX 8.1 patch variant and install (do the same IsUninst procedure from me previous post), then lastly grab the 1.2 NoCD from (the one WITHOUT a) If there seem to be gameplay issues, uninstall then reinstall, then use the DirectX 8.0a patch variant, then apply the other 1.2a NoCD (the one WITH a) Hopefully this should be enough for this one, IDK

Also disable the antivirus during the procedures - those have tendencies to report false-positives...

This is never a problem from antivirus

Uh, no, antivirus, especially Avast, CAN be THE problem & cause trouble for users when trying out old titles - thus don't be thickheaded, right-click the Avast taskbar icon, and disable the shields temporarily

Told you all there is to it, you currently aren't playing dirt3 - so, once again, don't be thickheaded, disable them shields, and once SFRU starts properly the first time enable the shields afterwards, and yer good to go
