[REQUEST] DVD+i navigation lock bypass

Postby annoyment » Wed Jun 24, 2020 6:56 pm

You know the drill - requesting if there is any modern-working solution that can unlock FULL navigation capabilities to (if possible) ALL DVD titles (like re-enabling the seek slider + skipping ads/logos/FBIstuff if disabled) on PC (no matter the region or anything), either for the whole OS or just on the individual software level (MPC-HC being me preferred player since it came with K-Lite Codec Pack) :!: Would be useful for not just regular DVD-Video, but also DVDi titles like these examples (too annoying to play otherwise, even for yours truly  ) :x
Bonus points if such a solution is found for BD+i as well
:thanks: in advance...

Do I have to (IIRC this suite started sucking alot in performance as it grew older)? Is there anything at least non-proprietary? :(

Navigation lock bypass... I don't think it actually exists. What I did use back in the day was something called... DVD Shrinker, I believe? Or something like that. It made a copy of a DVD but skipped all these legalese warnings and other unskippable shit. The only other way I can think of is remake the DVD from source files while indicating that nothing is to be unskippable. <shrugs> I don't remember much of it and nowadays I no longer care about that. I rip the content with Handbrake anyway.
