freebie accounts only have 35gig transfer after this mark they delete random files, logging in only moves the deletion mark not the bandwidth limit and those random deletions
interesting, that explains the "invalid errors" we encounter all the time... so what is a better host?

ps. that "rolling eyes" wasn't meant to be sarcastic/offensive towards you, it was meant towards 4shared, don't get mad :)

ALL of 2003 is done. (was small anyway 2.12GB)

I did not bother at all with Robocop+movies, as it is the same as the 4shared mirror...

Also from 2004 I have downloaded JFK Reloaded + Hires textures.

Cabela's Dangerous Hunts is useless in it's current upload form: there is a multipart RAR that is missing files in between , and there is a 4shared mirror with files in it. Problem is that the RAR acrhive cannot be repaired, thus there is no way to get the files properly. There is a hard way to re-get the files, but I think a proper upload of the RIP would be way better.

According to their FAQ there is no bandwidth limit, although I would be inclined to agree that something has to explain those file deletions. This means the service is broken. Did someone do their own tests to uncover and verify this 35 Gb limit? And I'm assuming this is an account lifetime limit?

I checked my oldest 4shared account with uploads from August 2008, filled to 99 % and a total traffic output of over 215 GB
Had 1 file that went missing within 8 days of uploading and am still wondering if I didn't accidentily binned it myself, as I was new to the system and had been messing around with directories

Had 1 other file that needed reuploading due to 'unvalid link', but that's it
All and all not too bad...

We really appreciate your and bullthorn's efforts. It's a shame we got so little notice or else it wouldn't be this rushed. Hopefully others will find out about it on the weekend and help out with the remaining years.

Don't worry, I'm working on those, including the gaps. Don't you already have an avalanche of uploading to do?

Since you have to ask, then I'm guessing edited posts don't show up as new unread posts for others.

Don't really like repeating myself, but yes, everything I've said I'd take care of has been.

Now I'm going to get back to focusing on my own tasks.

Well I've certainly been known to be jumpy in the past, but it was the third time, so maybe in my opinion it was needed. Anyway, I'm sure you meant well.

If briefcase has more than 10 files you need to click `Show All`at bottom of page to see the missing ones. ;)
I will reup Sum Of All Fears since one briefcase is dead.
