This is a direct sequel to the original arcade smash Arkanoid. Along with improved graphic engine, better sound and music, better hardware support and more levels, it also features a built-in editor and allows you to create your own level sets. If you've played the original Arkanoid you'll like this one. The evil Doh, apparently defeated in the first game (don't know if anyone has actually ever got there), has returned and it is up to your flying of your Arkanoid space craft to once again defeat him. The game is almost identical to its predecessor, where the basic idea is to keep the ball bouncing around the screen until all the blocks are gone. The various power ups that some times fall down the screen are essential in getting anywhere in the game and after a few stages you learn to look out for your favorites. |
