The year is 2189 and Theo DaCabe enters the halls of the headquarter of a fad
religion, that calls itself "Optimology". The surveying officer of the Buckinghamshire
Country Council is supposed to do a quick health and safety check of this
slowly-but-steadily growing sect. But suddenly he finds himself hurt and broken in an underground ward, a female doctor called Samantha Harting nursing his wounds. And who is
this man with the hat guarding the door? Could this be Trilby, a known mystic character
from about 200 years ago? And why does Theo have a bad feeling that something - or
somebody - is creeping this underground complex? 6 Days a Sacrifice ties up all the
loose ends left open by the predecessors 5 Days a Stranger, 7 Days a Skeptic and
Trilby's Notes. Can Theo put an end to the killings by "The Prince" lasting about 400
