Galidor: Defenders of the Outer Dimension Asylum Ent. / Electronic Arts 2003

This is based on the Fox Kids TV series of the same name and will see players assuming the role of Nick Bluetooth, who is attempting to rescue his friends from the evil tyrant Gorm. As Nick, players will have to travel through three distinct realms doing battle with numerous different enemies and boss characters as Nick searches for his friends and looks to rid the outer dimension of its evil ruler. Players will use a transdimensional navigation module known simply as The Egg to travel between realms, and they will have the ability to absorb enemy attributes and abilities via a technique known as glinching allowing him to obtain powers such as "Super Jump," "Armour," "Grapple," and "Jet Wings" from fallen foes. Nick can fly, jump, grapple and navigate through his adventures. There's a dozen levels of courageous platform combat in a quest to unlock a portal to Galidor. Nick's friends are being held hostage in four different realms of the outer dimension, each realm with three levels and an enemy boss that stands between the hero and a successful rescue. Nick must defeat all four bosses to free his friends and obtain the key fragments he needs to open a passageway to his true nemesis. The game is designed to interact with the Galidor Kek Powerizer, a Lego robot toy sold separately that can respond to in-game action when placed near the game screen, to offer hints and unlock special features.
