This is a remake of the old 8-bit classic Trailblazer. The rules are simple: you must guide the ball along the trail from the start zone to the end zone inside the qualifying time. The levels have a patchwork-quilt type display, with holes to avoid, and squares of various colors, which affect the craft's speed, both within its power potential and into warp, as well as a control-reverser and lots of holes. You can jump and thus avoid these holes, although you have a limited number of them for each level, and it's possible to adjust the speed through joystick or keyboard control. Blazing Trails 2 (2012) You must guide your quantum space ball across a series of drifting tracks whilst battling against meager time limits and limited jumps. Thi upgraded remake uses modern graphics techniques and a realistic physics engine to bring a fresh feel to an old game. | ||
