The game takes the format of a scavenger hunt within a small open world. The player needs to follow hints to get to the next quest. You play as the protagonist Maria competing against other riders in various obstacle courses and minigames. A small horse encyclopedia/learning mode is also included to help with the trivia quiz sections in the game. It was initially released as Dein Pferdecamp in Germany. In 2007, Abenteuer Pferdecamp SE, a slightly newer version was released that included a rally mode, new training opportunities,better 3D-graphics and the UI is also slightly polished. The game was released in the US in 2009 included in the 8 Great Games for Girls by Viva Media, under the title Horse Camp. The game was also added to Horse Lovers Compendium 5 Pack and Horse Lovers Ultimate Compendium. |
