Players lead perpetually perturbed protagonist Phillip through an adventuresome third act of betrayal and trickery in the fittingly titled Penumbra: Requiem. Created by the series' developer, Frictional Games, Requiem delivers a shadowy new plotline, while tying up loose ends from the narrative through the original game, Penumbra: Overture, and its earlier Black Plague expansion. It delves deeper into the world of the Tuurngait infection and personalities from the previous two games. Long lost friends will return and aid Philip on his quest, but can they really be trusted?
