Sam & Max are coming back for a second season of warm, melty episodic goodness. There's changes to all the recurring locations, and a few brand new ones! More lively NPCs who move around the world instead of standing rooted to one spot like pieces of furniture. Even more bizarre scenarios that will take Sam & Max from the arctic to the tropics and beyond. All-new, unique mini-games in every episode. Characters who pipe up of their own accord with useful information if they think you're stuck. Updated driving game with improved controls and the ability to upgrade your DeSoto. And there's Flint Paper. Also, Sam can run now if you want him to, and the games will finally support those giant widescreen monitors the kids seem so crazy about these days. Like Season One before it, Sam & Max Season Two will be released electronically. GameTap subscribers will get each new episode first, but just one day later it'll be unleashed on Telltale's website for gamers worldwide to consume. Episode 1: Ice Station Santa features a psycho Santa that has his intern elves scared to death. Part of the holiday episode will take the partners into the seedy underground world of rat boxing, with an action minigame that lets players control a miniature Boxing Betty doll. Episode 2: Moai Better Blues - a surprise trip to the tropics turns into a working vacation when Sam & Max sign up to stop a massive volcano eruption. Will their special blend of bewildering wit and renegade justice be enough to win over the gods? Episode 3: Night of the Raving Dead - they head to Stuttgart to face an emo vampire and his army of the undead. Transylvania was never this trendy. Episode 4: Chariots of the Dogs - Bosco, the lovable neighborhood paranoid, has gone missing. Now Flint Paper needs help from the Freelance Police to track him down. So what happened to Bosco? Episode 5: What's New, Beelzebub? - In this season finale, with souls on the line and the fate of mankind hanging by a thread, Sam & Max will come face to face with their biggest, baddest adversary ever. On Dec 8/2021, a Remastered Edition was released with beautiful dynamic lighting, shadows, and ambiance that pull a fourteen-year-old game into the future. All graphical assets have been scaled up, which means more detailed environments and smoother animations.
