im having some problems in heavy gear 1, on the splash screen after selecting gears and companion and mission briefing, i got a "genport i/o" error and the game closes; any1 has the same error?

right :D i didnt saw the a-z index.


btw, im downloading a rip and a iso of heavy gear 2. if i get them to download, ill try to reup them on a priv server ( spymac works perfectly using the bmp rename trick, and is better, IMHO, than yahoo)

ah ... i'm no expert at this sorta fing, but perhaps you could convert the mp3's to wav's separately, using a proggie called dbpoweramp.

ive been researching about the error, and it appears to be a problem in the l3dec system; it cannot convert mp3 to wav, due a system error. anyone has a solution?

the problem seems to be in the wav - mp3 convertion, i believe the .bat file (not the renamer, the converter) misses the first file to start the conversion, then failing all the rest of the process.
