I got a hold of Rollcage Extreme (unofficial Rollcage Stage 2 for modern hardware) and it is superb. I believe it has the bumpmap fix built in, but I could be mistaken (no bumpmap option in the launcher). It also supports 1080p and new widescreen resolutions.

Recently downloaded Armed & Dangerous from meineseite. With all the options on max, the game crawls at about 1 FPS!! With 16bit colour and all settings at minimum, it still only averages about 5 to 10 FPS!!

Is this game DirectX or OpenGL?? I have had similar problems with OpenGL games when ...
