Re: Noir: A shadowy thriller Topic is solved

:thanks: for reupping it. I don't think Mediafire will last long though...they tend to delete stuff fast. If it does disappear later on, try Megaupload instead.

I'm looking into it. I had a problem with Mega Manager. The old version I have no longer uploads files and I don't think the new version ...

I was downloading Road To India from 4shared. I was on part 6 and the wait time had grown to over 300 seconds. I cleared my browser cache and went back for part 7. I only had to wait 90 seconds. There is obviously a cookie involved which can be cleared to cut down on the wait time. :)

Can anyone ...

There are too many things with similar names.

MS Java Virtual Machine was Microsoft's version of JAVA and was discontinued in 2001. JScript is something else and is current, JScript 5.8 for IE8. JScript is MS's version of javascript someone told me.

I don't know what the difference is between all ...

When I wrote "javascript" in my previous post I meant MS JScript. I think it was the upgrade to JScript version 5.7 that allowed 4shared pages to work properly with Opera 10.10. I can't think of any other explanation. Aside from that the 4shared problem seemed to be fixed in Opera 10.50 without the ...

UPDATE:

I continued to have the same problem at the newer 4shared folders all the way through Opera 10.10.

Installed Opera 10.50 final and the problems were gone when I checked. Then upgraded javascript 5.6 to 5.7 for good measure after 4shared support told me their folders are heavily javascript ...

It wasn't red/blue so i assume stereoscopic...guy in theater said not to steal the glasses as they are expensive. They were collected as people walked out.

The glasses weren't collected at the place I saw it so I took them home. Ticket prices were the equivalent of an extra US$3 over the regular ...

The version I was trying to install was Win95C.

Is your 95C CD bootable, my copy isn't? If not then how did you get it to install without a floppy?

The reason I am asking is that some years back I made an ISO of a Win98 CD, deleted all the files and folders leaving only the boot sector, then ...

I suggest you file a bug report with them as well. The more complaints they get the better.

No, I won't do this. Even if Opera is free for download, it is commercial software (but I have no idea how they earn money with it). So I think they have other interests and I don't want to argue with them ...

Now I have encountered the same problem: the links disappear if I switch between windows.
It seems "4shared" use java-script up to the death.
Solution: switch between View->"Author mode" and "User mode".
This will reset the screen.

Now that it happened to someone else I don't feel so alone ...

I tried what you said 3dslUserLoad . It didn't fix anything.

I don't use automatic updates, never have. I download the updates individually and am in the habit of reading the MS tech reports and security bulletins before I install them.

The only plugin I have is Adobe flash player, it was also ...

Thanks for the info, however I still think 4shared made some changes, what they did...I don't know.

I tried the settings you suggested 3dslUserLoad but the most that happened was that the links flashed on the screen for half a second and disappeared again.

To be clear, only the share folders are ...

Any Opera users having problems with 4Shared????

I use Windows 2000 with Opera for my internet box.

I had not downloaded anything for a couple of weeks. Now when I try to access a 4Shared "virtual drive" the page loads with the gray framework but no visible download links. At best the links flash on for a second then disappear again. In fact the ...

I looked into the Noir situation and have got it working on Windows XP and Windows 2000.

No hacks or cracks, just the missing file that should have shipped with the game in the first place.

Download and read the instructions.

See new download link below.
