Re: Stop Online Piracy Act

It's very sad about Megaupload because tons of blogs uploading rare music or rare homebrew apps had their links disappear in a snap, and it's unlikely they will all be uploaded again, because many were just links let there until their death. I guess in court the judge will demand a list of titles ...

Well, the talk on the Reflexive forum (as if I was the expert... I only browsed it a little yesterday) is that Amazon has bought Reflexive, and might have an interest in selling download games.

The industry is going toward small, downloadable, ready-to-play, buyable bonuses. I long for the return ...

Thanks very much for this info. It's a whole scene I know little about. Perhaps my biggest discovery of 2010 (who wouldn't want to play Harlequin Presents: The Hidden Object Of Desire???).

Someone told me that 90% of it is crap, but I prefer to judge by myself.
I often like stuff that people think ...

What is this? It looks like they have tons of exclusive stuff. What's going on? These games are not available anywhere else?

I only have 2 days and I have no idea where to start. Bad luck to learn about a fun site 2 days before it closes.

Is there an expert here who got a list of the 1549 or so ...

FreeRapid works like a charm! (at least for the time being).
Thanks for the suggestion! It doesn't reach the ones with
passwords, but we'll see about JDownloader then.

I'm not critical of JDownloader, I know this isn't their fault.
I'm only assessing th situation that download managers
function ...

Does anyone know how long generally JDownloader takes to update their engine (makes it work with 4Shared)?

I saw that they update that specific plugin about once a month. But if they take 2 weeks eeach time for an update, that means that it functions only about 1 or 2 weeks every month. Is that it ...

JDownloader Problems

Hello,

This is general-technical so I don't really know what thread it belongs, but,
this morning JDownloader just gives me Offline links for 4Shared in Linkgrabbers (all stuff I'm able to get manually). I desinstalled an re-installed with same results. I really think this is a general problem ...

Otiscrusher:
++3DSL has only like 0.01% percent of all action games ever released, ++even less.

Where would be a list of all these titles so we can assess or measure that?

Do you mean, the shooter site and the adventure one combined?
Do you mean from 1991 up or are you going back (Donkey Kong is ...

I'm very naive. Something I don't get is, 3D has been here for a while.
Since the 1950's?? Why are people calling it new? 3D television iis rther new though.

Hello,

just wanted to say that I succeeded playing this, but gave up on installing DOS with Windows 3.1. It was doing weird things and I didn't want to take a chance corrupting my system.

But to anyone who would ever meet the same problems as I did, and still want to play this quite ordinary ...

It would be easy to pick an early BASIC computer game from the early 1970's, say, Battleship, and call that boring. I mean, what was that but just pressing a bunch of random numbers? But then at least we are talking of a time when everything was experimental and you probably were some very avant ...

Thanks for the answers. I will look at virtual pc this week (I'll admit it sound complicated, might as well attempt the DOSbox patch before), but...If this is a videocard problem, how does VPC or Dosbox fix that? I looked somewhere and they said a GDI problem might be about an old version of ...
