I have no more ideas.
It is still "please verify your direct-x installation" and "could not find dxdiag.exe" IT IS THERE!!! I RAN THE WHOLE DX TESTS. IT WORKS! Is this game blind???

Doesn´t work. I get Direct3d error message. Fresh install of windows xp in vmware, than codename outbreak and the 2.1 patch.
Do you still know your settings in the configuration tool?
the windows dxdiag.exe runs perfectly but the game not.

oh - when i start dxdiag.exe in windows it says everything ...

i don´t get this game to run. I tried it on Windows 8.1 (in several compatibility modes..) and on a Windows 98 virtual machine that even runs blood 2 & invasion deutschland.
On Windws 8.1 tha game says i would need at least 1mb video memory an on virtual pc there seems to be problems with ...
