Paltiosoft (which looks to be running shop similarly to Tagès) made an update two years ago that their latest client version (unrelated to versions wrapped into the protected game) should operate on W11 - seems to still be troubling

This topic notes that "region-locking" took effect for titles with older DRMs (which seems to be what those redditors have experienced); AFAIK this decision included Softdenchi too (while newer OA DRM solutions have said region locks baked in from the start)

As for Buddy's successor - PlayDRM was understood, providing a legit serial got validated after initial startup,
to also be a joke; to the point that an generic unwrapper seems to exist for it too, though ATM it's not yet leaked from its originating (very-private) community forums (and alas, in comparison to this Golem's unwrapper, its bypassing efficiency is currently unknown)
