Theseus: Return of the Hero

Postby Lifeforce » Sun Mar 12, 2006 12:02 pm

Theseus: Return of the Hero is the logical sequel to Alien Shooter.
Despite all the human efforts to resist monster invasion, the blood-thirsty creatures keep occupying new territories. Theseus, the hero of this game, arrives in a small European town and gets into the very middle of such a battle. Of course Theseus immediately joins the fight against the aliens. The game features 10 missions, mostly taking place in open spaces, lots of playing locations (forest, village, highway, city battles, etc.), six types of weapons, ability to upgrade the main character, and an inventory shop where you can buy the newest equipment between missions.

...fist saw this one at a russian site but now its released everywhere 8)

Yes hfric, thats the same game. Developers website is sigma-team.net
Don't like any of their Alien Shooter series myself, aiming inparticular I find dodgy.
This new Theseus one uses the same monster graphics _again_ which is a shame.
By far my favorite game of this kind is still Crimson Land. Seems a CL2 is in development, nice!

We don't have many isometric view shooters here, do ppl want these included? Personally I find them fun. There's also Alien Breed series, Crusader No Remorse/ No Regret, Agent Armstrong, Meat Puppet, etc.

technically isometric view has axes spaced of 120°. and for me Metal Slug is in 2d like super mario bros. the best game I've played in isometric view is Dink Smallwood. you can it add to the site, it's a freeware now.
