I'm reading news right now. Wow, good luck to you, Trey. We rarely have floods and real hurricanes, but we have had some very cruel winters. When you can't buy food, just because it can't be delivered. People fighting for bread (I'm not joking), that really sucks. We even had no water and central heating for about 2 months once. Don't ask me how people were getting to their jobs. Terrible. Well, and I won't talk much about politicians... I'm really worried... I seriously dunno, how I will eat their poisonous meat after apocalyptic nuclear winter?! So, good luck to you (once more) and the rest of the people out there.

Added: Make some photos!

Hope you got through it ok, Trey. We got some rain and high winds but wasn't too bad here.

It ended up being kind of anti-climatic, it blew through real fast here, didn't even lose power, hardly any trees down in the area. They got it much worse north of here.

Glad to see you made it. Let´s just hope other people can make it as well.

Would you rather have had Sandy blowing you properly?

Well, I was all prepared for the worst. I had my oil lamps, batteries, food, water, and then *poof* nothing...

Be glad it was nothing. :)

Granted this was a long time ago for me, but you don't want to be even almost directly hit by a storm like Hurricane Hugo.

Sorry to hear you have nothing now. They must be blowin' in the wind then. :D
