Blood

Alpha Compiled: Feb 17, 1996 (1.0 released on March 7, 1997)
BLOOD.ZIP (17.1MB)

Now this one is very interesting. This leak occured back when 3D Realms was going to publish Blood. One of the developer's computers was sent to a PC repair shop, and this shop found this in development game and copied and leaked it. It was mentioned the next time a PC goes in for a repair, someone is going along with the computer and is not going to take their eyes off of it during the process. Anyways, this is a very early look at Blood, complete with interesting documentation like Change Logs, early map designs, and even the (now open source) BUILD Engine source code.

I have a few alpha/beta games that I think have not been mentioned yet.

1) Here is a link for an unreleased game 'Into the Shadows' made by Triton (who went on to make Scavenger and Enclave). I think the game beta demo is form 1995 and its got very advanced technology for the time (ie 3D character models, shadow-casting routines)

Download: http://www.scene.org/file.php?file=/mir ... p&fileinfo (I think this is the only link on the internet!)

2) Quake I pre-release:
Download: http://files.filefront.com/q1prerelzip/ ... einfo.html

Also exclusive Quake I pics form 1995 can be found here (this is still when quake was all medieval-like)
Download: http://static.hugi.is/games/quake/

3) Shadow Warrior unreleased 'Twin Dragon' addon:
Download: http://rtcm.thecomitatus.com/knowledge- ... or-addons/
Also 'Zilla's Vengeance' can be found here:
http://www.fileplanet.com/hosteddl.aspx ... zvdemo.zip

4) Redneck Rampage alpha demo:
Download: http://www.3dgamers.com/dlselect/games/ ... d.zip.html

Also Powerslave beta (I think the 3dsl link is down)
Download: http://rtcm.thecomitatus.com/knowledge- ... shareware/

5) Unreleased 3D stategy 'Golgotha' (1997 beta demo)
Download: http://www.3dgamers.com/dlselect/games/ ... c.zip.html
Also unreleased 'Seed' Fps form humansoft (1999 test beta demo):
Download: http://www.3dgamers.com/dlselect/games/ ... o.exe.html

6) All quake 3 tests:
Download: http://ftp.euro.net/wanadoo/games/Quake3/win32/old/?N=A (great ftp site)

Ok, thats the best I can do. You guys did a super job already. Can someone please, please, please help me find/ upload a link for Quake 3 IHV Test ( I have spent hours looking for it). Thanks a lot.

Good news, I have just found Dungeon Keeper Beta.

Download: http://dungeon-keeper.net/index.php?opt ... info&id=67 (this site is in French, but easy to navigate. The beta is around 89 mb and I have never seen it anywhere else on the net). When you run it (after extracting) make sure to modify Keeper.cfg to indicate the path that you had installed it to.

Edit: Can someone really kindly PLEASE upload or provide a download link for Quake 3 IHV test. I will be eternally greatful!

Unreleased ? Somebody lowered to test? This game does not possess a description in 3DSL? Somebody has some image of this game?

@spoone
There's bunch of Q3 test versions on this page plus glsetup.exe and glbug.exe - maybe those may be useful, i don't know:
http://browse.files.filefront.com/Quake ... files.html

@josilva23
We put entry of Seed on site now with screenshots link too. Game was never completed.

In 3DSL the game Corridor 8: Galactic Wars is in 1994 page, but I imagine that the correct one is 1996 page.

I couldn't find any info or screenshots for Deadline, so it's not really adequate to make an entry for it.
