Dark Angael - 1st person shooter for PC?!?

Watching the last-minute ebay bits i stumbled over a Dark Angel plattform game from 1997.After checking some screenhots i found this site:

Did they got the name of the game wrong?!Are these screens supposed to be taken from another game we know allready?!

Its weird,cause the PS2/XBox Dark Angel game has a different navigation and control screen:

the first link is from Daikatana (in some countries it had the name Dark angel strange :shock: ), and the second one from is from that serial game Dark Angel with Jessica Alba ,
but looks lile Scary means this game

only have the demo - this game is like a mix of Abuse with some gothic shooter

daikatana's good, it's only the press that says it sucks. It actually plays alot better than much of the newer shooters

8) the graphics looks cool though...snow, lovely country sides :wink: Yeah press is bad in our days.Newer games allways have to kick the testers ass to get good results.That sucks!Same with Tomb Raider 6.It definitely has annoying bugs and looks like being dumped in a rush but the graphics engine and game itself i think is fine.Plus-i love horrable games :lol:

Lifeforce if you need it i will up the platinum version with the 274mb patch to fix those bugs :lol: well this one is on one cd that has if i remember 800 mb or few mb less

Is the patch meant to be for Daikatana or Tomb crash Raider 6 :lol: ?!

its for Daikatana its on one cd thats why 800 - 798 mb

Daikatana v1.2a Patch
====================

Here's the list of Bug Fixes and Additions to Daikatana that are contained in this
patch. To apply this patch, you must have a FULL INSTALL of Daikatana in place.

BUG FIXES:
==========

* Windows XP bug has been fixed (level loading)
* Fixed a bug with the Wraithorb in Multiplayer mode
* Disabled cheating in Multiplayer where players were changing their models and
skins
* To play demos, you can use DEMOMAP. We also added the DEMOPLAY
command which does the same thing
* Death messages are now echoed to the console log
* Vitality and Power no longer show up when 'no powerups' is selected.
* Wyndrax will no longer have problems opening a specific passageway when
you bust him down to half of his health.
* Multiple graphic cards are selectable within the game, including Voodoo cards
If you are having problems with Daikatana running slow with your Voodoo, after
applying this patch, run Daikatana, go to the VIDEO menu and at the top of the
screen you'll see a pull-down menu. Pull it down and select "Voodoo Mini ICD"
and click on Apply Changes.
* Fixed sidekicks not spawning between level changes and savegames (where you
couldn't finish the game)
* Added unlimited saves option. If ON when starting a level, SaveGems will not
spawn. Save function will no longer reference the save count when attempting
to save unless the option is turned back off.
* Texture size problem with Voodoo cards
* All map bugs have been fixed
* All Windows 2000 bugs have been fixed (including level loading)
* Fixed sidekick speaking and pathing problems
* Froginators and RoboSkeets have been changed per skill level
* Removed CD copy protection check
* Demo recording and playback works
Use the standard Quake II commands
* Fixed crash when changing your name during a multiplayer game
* Fixed crash after a COOP game restore
* Fixed memory leaks
* You cannot save on moving platforms anymore (which caused a bug)
* Fixed multiplayer Mikiko Speed Boost bug (after dying, her Speed wasn't
setting correctly)
* Default value for RATE cvar is now 25000
* Cannot apply skill points to skills which are already at 5
* The autoload slot should no longer show up in the save menu

* User-typed messages appear in a larger typed font in the message history

* Incorporated advanced joystick axis support
* Skin color in COOP now works

You randomly start with a different weapon when you respawn.
Each episode has two weapons to choose from. They are:
E1: Ion Blaster, Sidewinder
E2: Venomous, Trident
E3: Bolter, Ballista
E4: Slugger, Kineticore
* Map rotation is now set with CVARs, depending on the type of multiplayer mode
you're in.

yup with this patch is a hole diffrent game and yeah this patch size is 48 mb but it needs 274 mb for patching

??? now i am really confused....

things i know: There is no patch 1.2a, the only thing where this is shown is on the SoldOut CD, and in reality this is identical to version 1.2.

and this 1.2 is the 40-something MB patch. so what exactly is your version about?

bingo this version

and yeah this patch is 48 mb but you another 274mb after this patch becoz its adding some thing
