"Report Dead Link" button

Postby germo » Sun Oct 15, 2006 12:17 am

How about adding "report broken link" button to every upload on 3dsl and al? Is it possible? Is it worth a try? I know that all my uploads went down and I found that only two was reported as dead (by 'old' members). That's strange - isn't it?

I've seen some sites that tried this, what happens is idiots end up marking everything dead even though they aren't just for kicks or meanness.

I have thought more about button pointing to "Broken Downloads" section on this forum. No direct reporting. Just a little trick to encourage people to report dead links.
