I've found that link 5 hours before your post. But what I don't understand is why some french sites say the demo will be downloadable in less than 2 hours, at the time I post. Those demos aren't "final" ? Anyway the game is supposed to be out very soon too. But I read the demo is an exclusive level.
And I don't even know if Far Cry had such good notes. That's incredible !

Maybe because FarCry is good just for 2-3 levels. When the ugly badly modeled monsters appears one tend to quit, uninstall it. Yup. I guess that's it.

You can reinstall as many times as you want, as long as you uninstall before reinstalling, that other stuff about the activation key I don't know about though. Luckily I bought the 360 version :p

in the manual they write that WHEN YOU UNINSTALL YOU HAVE TO HAVE INTERNET ON that will send the right info to SECUROM HQ

WTF WOW nice future we have now they even what to know when you uninstall games and install them , still waiting for the crack that will show up after the 24th when SECUROM will activate the EURO SERVERS that active this game

bunch of lies , they protected this game the same way like D2D games are protected but in this one you still need the disc inside the drive

wonders me when the first angry post will arrive when some people activated this game when a stick USB Hdd was plugged in your comp , the same problem was with D2D games hate hardware dependent copy protections

Say thanks, that they don't require usb-key or write you to them for CD-key(I had such issue once and they meant real mail service). What a morons, they deserve to be sodomized with a chainsaw! Because of these stupid protections, which anyway will be cracked sooner or later, I had stopped buying games at all.

I can only compare with case, when Akella released pre-release(0.99) version of Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales in Russia with swarm of bugs and some features not working correctly. Of course as normal retail CD.

Has anyone else noticed that the US support number printed in the back of the manual for this game isn't even connected?

I've had to call the Canadian line to deal with this 2 activation limit bullshit.

2KElizabeth don't you dare come in here and spout your pre-rehearsed script about how it's not a problem, because it is.

I've had this game for more than 30 hours now, and I still find myself unable to play it. Got crashed to desktop every time I tried to play. Installed it on my friend's identical MacBook Pro, it worked fine on his, so I reinstalled it on my computer, only to find my activations limit had been used.

Uninstalling from his computer has yeilded no new activations, and I've spent all day on the phone being detective around by 2K support and by SecuROM passing the buck back and forth over who is meant to do manual activations. Finally, a nice man at the 2K support line gave it to me straight and informed me that they hadn't expected to have any sorts of activation troubles this early in the game's lifespan and have absolutely no policies or procedures in place for manual activations yet, and I should call back in the next couple of days.

It's sad when your only real hope is for a group of internet software crackers to come along and allow you to play a legally purchased copy of a game.

Anyway I've found that. Archives protected by password ? hmmm it smells fake.
And as Oyn said, you have to see the thing like that :
You install the game. You have a problem on your comp (virus, whatever) in sept. You format your disk where the game is installed. You reinstall the game coz you didn't finished it yet.
Then time is passing and you
1- forgot to uninstall the game
2- crash your system again
Now, technically, you can't play the game anymore

Official patch ? It's supposed to be SM3 only.

Well I didnt say its official, but the game itself is not so special for it not to support SM2.
