Notify whether an .ISO is CD or DVD

Postby Norseman » Wed Sep 12, 2007 2:05 pm

Would it be possible to make a notification on the site whether a downloadable .ISO image is of a DVD or a CD? Some of us still only have CD-burners, and it is a bit frustrating to download an .ISO and then find out you can't burn it because it is a DVD.

(Yes, I know of Daemon Tools et al, but some still prefer to have the media handy for reinstallation etc).

I always indicate number of cds and if I know it's dvd, I will also put. Is there one that's not indicated? If so, let me know.

Unreal Tournament 2003 seems to be an ISO of a DVD, I didn't find it specified anyway but maybe I just didn't look good enough.

"Beta" is generally a trick the admins use in order to not risk getting downloads wiped because of warez. It seems to be the full version to me, considering the total size is a little over 2Gb, which is a bit much for a demo, don't you think? ;-P

The word Demo is the trick. Beta means it's not the fianl content. I don't precise if it's a cd or a dvd for beta demos, but if you have example of ISOs on 3dsl that are on 2 cds or 1 dvd, and it's just written ISO Demo you can tell it here.
