Yes, but even the highest quality scan can't replace a printed orginal manual - not even speaking of the extras like 3D glasses or coins.
A scanned photo of them can't function the same way.
You've got to have vivid imagination to play IF anyway Sitll the feelies had some hints to solving certain puzzles so a picture is still better that none...
