WinXP SP3 beta download...

If anyone's interested, I happened to find the SP3 Beta for download while looking for a better video driver at:

Under 'Downloads', 'Apps and Utilities', 'Other'

Actually Microsoft is giving it away now, you can signup to have Windows Update download it, or just download the thing in one shot.

This still isn't the Final version, which is supposed to come out sometime this year.

Why should it? Guy I know installed it on some of his comps and he says it's working pretty well. And yes he exactly knows what he's doing

I doubt it'll really screw-up your system. The real problem is that there just isn't anything vital in it like new IE or DirectX anything. I doubt it'll do much more than bloat your OS.

What we need is a guinea pig, someone should take one for the team and install it. Then we can see what happens.
