hi
with my old pc i played CoD 2 in DX7
since i have my new one i play it in DX9
but somehow i think theres no major diffrence between DX7 and DX9
ok...of course theres a diffrence
but well i dont see many major diffrences in this game......
which DX version r you using ?
btw i tuned the game a little bit made changes like maxfps raised from 35 to 90
or Brass 0 ( disables the shell ejecting this improves performance alot ! )
what i want to know is.....does someone know if the glow cmd when set to off ( 1/0 )
improves performance i couldnt see any diffrence after disabling it.....
Call of Duty 2 DX7 vs. DX9 !!!

lol otis like i didnt knew that........
i can run it with a constant fps in DX9 with 40-45 frames ( constantly )
but somehow i prefer to play in DX7 cause sure i have much much more frames per second 60-90 constantly
so the game just runs better dont know its real smooth........not so when i play in DX9 and i dont have bad fps in DX9 mode
like said before......

40-45 is enough to play fps game. Ofcourse, in DX7 mode the perfomance is much higher but the picture is really worse. But it's up to you what to choose. I simply don't understand why you had to create this thread, such things are so subjective.
Plus, if the game runs fine on your PC, what's the problem, then? I don't see any.
