FIFA08 Controller Problem !!!

hi , once again i have problem

i have FIFA08 since quite a time now but had no gamepad all the time
yesterday i buyed one

the "SPEEDLINK STRIKE2" model

i didnt buyed a expensive one cause i dont have much games who r supporting gamepads

well anyways everything worked fine i installed the driver plugged the USB plug in and calibrated that thing......

but when i launch FIFA08 and want to change CONTROLS from KEYBOARD to CONTROLLER he changes the option but when i leave the menu
its set to KEYBOARD again

and i cant do anything against it ( yes i saved my profile after changing )

so ok then i tried to launch a game just to see if it works without setting the option

and then when the screen appears where you have to choose your team ( u know that screen where you have to go to the left or right side right before the match starts )

well there appears a KEYBOARD icon and a CONTROLLER icon
and lol i cant play with both at the same time.......

is there any way to change this option from any ini ? making the file save protected i.e

or just setting it in the ini file

one thing that ran through my head was that the game may not support my new gamepad but hell no i can move through the game menu`s

etc all i cant do is playing lol when the game starts then i can press whatever i want nothing happens.......

btw doesnt INFERNAL support GAMEPADS ? i didnt read anything about it in the readme and the ingame options dont show any option too

if so, mhhh i dont get that cause i have a gamepad so i dont need a program that emulates an gamepad lol ?

natürlich, hab ich sogar als aller erstes gemacht.... sogar die aller neueste version......

sure that was the first thing i did then reboot and tried to play

but it feels good in my hands the handling works pretty well and i have 2 years guarantee

i payed 15 euro ( 22 - 23 dollar ? )
and this price is ok i think

it supports force feedback u know that rumble thingy it vibrates
