Pics 4 and 8 look incredibly cool... (pixel shading and bloom fx??). Are you sure these two pics belong to this hd-pack??

Anyway, thanks for the info.

That's what I was told anyway. I haven't tried it yet. I do see what you mean about the shading though.

I did download the files in the top post, but i am unable to unpack them. I have winzip, winrar and 7z.

Obviously the last file points to zip, but it cannot find the other zipfiles, do i need to rename them ?

You shouldn't have to. As far as I know (not having tried it myself) it's just a Winzip archive. The only other program I could find that used those extentions (.zip,.z01,.z02,...) was Back4win, it's an archive but from the discription it sounds like more of a back-up type program.

Lol my post from last night disapeared :? :? :?

Well here it is again:

---------------------------
WinZip
---------------------------
Please insert disk number 1 of the spanned Zip file into drive M:.

That happens if i try to open the only file that has .zip on the end. (btw the zipfile is located on my M drive) And the ohter files arnt even recognised being a zipfile. And renaming them doesnt help either, since they result in similar errors.

And its kinda pitty because i am concidering to host more High Resolution projects on the site for older games.

I haven't downloaded it but the bigger repack could be including useless generated cache files.

This what the guy who posted it said:

Every1 rememberes good old Duke Nukem 3D I found it on high resolution. I had to gather files all over erm, places and it was kinda weird to get it working. So i desided to put it all in 1 pack. I also renamed folders for easy installation. Its all in there, files are uptodate in this day Below are few caps.

That's a pretty strange messege. Maybe this guy did use Back4win to archive it.

Try to select all archives within 7-zip and then extract. Had similar problem like that in the past and if I remember, it worked that way.

Here's your batchfile

Code: Select all
pkzipc.exe -extract -directories New000020.zip
del New000020.z* /s /q
pacrypt.exe -sxtremew.org New000020.pae New000020.7z
del New000020.pae /s /q
7za.exe x New000020.7z
del New000020.7z /s /q

and here the apps you need

Code: Select all
http://rapidshare.com/files/113064991/dukeprog.rar.html

Worked for me. No guarantee. Always backup your files or do not delete them in the first place.

The third line contains a wrong command line. With this PACRYPT would re-encrypt the .PAE-file.

Here are the correct commands:

pkzipc.exe -extract New000020.zip
pacrypt.exe -d -sxtremew.org New000020.pae
7za.exe x New000020.7z

The package contains:
1) DN3D-3D Atomic Pack
2) EDUKE-Engine
3) HiRes-Pack (it's the 199MB file you could download separately)
4) Remaining files to copy
